2026 Fall Season of Live & About
Now more than ever, it is important to support our local theater community and celebrate the talented artists who enrich our city. We hope you’ll join us for an exciting season of live music-theatre in the DC area.
Following a successful 2026 Winter/Spring Season, Alliance for New Music-Theatre has put together another eclectic lineup for the Fall 2026 “Live and About” series, featuring outings to four different productions from September through December.
“Live and About” is a curated subscription series offering monthly outings to a variety of theaters and introducing participants to the wide range of live music-theatre experiences available throughout the DMV. From larger, established companies to smaller organizations, each outing offers an opportunity to discover something new while supporting the region’s vibrant performing arts community.
Participants attend performances as a group, broaden their appreciation for different forms of music-theatre, and connect with fellow theatergoers. After each performance, the group will gather informally to discuss the production, exchange perspectives, and explore the creators’ artistic intentions.
The Fall 2026 season is offered as a four-production subscription at special group rates, plus a kick-off session in-person at OLLI. For each outing, participants may choose between a midweek evening performance and a weekend matinee.

First Session |
The first introductory session will be held at OLLI at AU on Thursday, September 9 from 10:00-11:30 AM in Room 3 on the 5th floor. Subsequent sessions will take place at each performance location. |

Registration for this special group is separate from the fall semester and is on a first come, first-served basis. |

$200 per person (covers cost of all shows). Refunds available ONLY if group is cancelled due to low enrollment. Transportation not included. |
