9200: Case Studies in Ethical Decision Making

February 2-5
1:45 PM - 3:15 PM
In-Person

What happens when people of power and influence face complex ethical decisions—not clear-cut cases of right and wrong, but cases where the lines are blurred, precedent is scarce, and the legal framework is underdeveloped? How do leaders sort through conflicting pressures and organizational biases to arrive at decisions? And how do they rationalize those decisions? This study group will examine a series of case studies from various corners of society. It is not a traditional lecture format. It relies on the full and active participation of each member. The value lies in sharing perspectives and challenging assumptions. The goal is learning by asking rather than telling.
