9250: Shall I Stay or Shall I Go? Comparing Aging in Place vs. Retirement Communities

February 12-13
9:45 AM - 11:15 AM
In-Person

Deciding where and how to live out your later years is one of the most important decisions you and your family will face. This informative talk provides a balanced comparison of two primary options for senior living: aging in place (remaining in a home of your choice) and moving to a retirement community (such as independent living, assisted living, or Continuing Care Retirement Communities). We'll move beyond assumptions to explore the real-world pros and cons of each choice, covering key considerations such as financial realities, lifestyle and socialization, and independence and control. Attendees will leave with a clear framework for evaluating their future options.
