910: “Operation Epic Fury”: A Strategic Assessment
July 6-8

President Trump, in collaboration with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, launched a major war of choice against the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI) during the winter of 2026. The timing and circumstances of this preventive war appears to have been driven by the "opportunity" to decapitate the senior religious, political and military leadership and affect a change to a more strategically compliant government. Similar to the miscalculation of President Putin’s decision to fully invade Ukraine in 2022, the third Persian Gulf War has become a protracted regional war with massive global consequences. Due to a variety of geo-strategic and geo-economic circumstances, this conflict has merged with the ongoing Russo-Ukrainian conflict. This Short will provide an in depth analysis of the political, economic and military strategic implications of these two wars. Furthermore, it will highlight the acceleration of the robotization of a new way of war, a revolution in military affairs based upon the explosive emergence of the microprocessor. This study group has a high class size capacity.
