OLLI at AU Board Membership
MEMBERSHIP ON THE Board OF DIRECTORS
- Attend no more than 10 Board meetings a year, September through June. Meetings are generally held the 3rd Thursday of the month at 3:30 p.m. when classes are in session or at 10 a.m. when they are not.
- A three-year term, with the opportunity to run for a 2nd consecutive term, if asked.
- Directors are covered by Directors and Officers Liability Insurance.
- Directors are expected to participate actively in meetings and the business of OLLI at AU.
- Directors must retain their membership in OLLI for the duration of their term.
- Directors are expected to support OLLI at AU’s development efforts.
- Board members may serve as chairs of committees, but this is not required. Committee membership, however, is encouraged.
