9706: American Indian Dwellings and History in Our National Park System

From Florida’s Canaveral National Seashore to Mesa Verde National Park and north to Katmai National Park, we visit structures built by diverse ancestral peoples that are now preserved and protected in our national park system. In the second session, we share stories of tribal history and culture from National Park Service sites and national trails located across the US, spanning early indigenous settlement through a tumultuous evolution to the modern era. This study group has a high class size capacity.
