Starting March 06
Online
Join us on a journey through the world of Jazz as we share the songs and artists that have captured our hearts. Each class will be taught by a different SGL who will share the music that made them love Jazz. The instructor will discuss 3-4 artists or themes, such as Jazz Vocalists or My Favorite Horns, and play musical clips and videos from the various artists. From hidden gems to timeless classics, our goal is to deepen your appreciation for this uniquely American art form. We’ll explore legends like Sarah Vaughan, Cleo Laine, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Paul Desmond, Shirley Horn, Bill Evans, McCoy Tyner, and many more. Come celebrate the magic of jazz with us!
